Botox vs Juvederm

When you’re young, you always want to try and look younger; but when you get older, you want to look younger. Although there is no way to go back in time, but there is a way to look younger. Botox and Juvederm are two products that can help you look years younger. Here is the difference between the two products.
The main difference between Botox and Juvederm is in the injections' solutions themselves. Juvederm is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your healthcare professional eases Juvederm injectable gel under the skin to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses.” However, Botox is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those frown lines between the brows to form over time. This injection is also known as a neuromuscular blocking toxin, which eliminates the appearance of wrinkles by blocking the chemical that triggers muscle responses, acetylcholine. This creates a temporary paralysis of muscles at the injection site, thus smoothing skin in the forehead and around the eyes for a younger appearance.
Botox and Juvederm are both used to rejuvenate the appearance of aging skin; however, Juvederm and other dermal fillers can also be used for lip augmentation and to correct fat loss in the face, but Botox is strictly a wrinkle treatment. Botox injections can also be used to treat an assortment of medical conditions like migraine headaches and excessive sweating. Juvederm injections is only used for cosmetic enhancement.
Both Botox and Juvederm has been FDA approved to treat wrinkles. Juvederm provides long-term effectiveness, which can last anywhere from 6-12 months. The cost of Juvederm injections tend to average more per treatment than Botox injections do. Botox on the other hand, can last up to 4 months.
In order to figure out if Botox or Juvederm is right for you, you need to go to your local Jacksonville Cosmetic Dentistry. Most first time consultations are free. So what do you have to lose besides ages off your face?

Whiter Smile

Beauty is a word with many meanings. Is beauty only on the outside, or maybe it's how we feel about ourselves in the inside? Although beauty varies from person to person, people tend to relate to beauty by our appearances. So now the big question is, how can we look "beautiful"?

We could possibly go to the extreme and get plastic surgery, but wouldn't that be breaking the bank? Especially with the economy today, we can't afford to spend thousands of dollars to look beautiful. Well there is a better solution.

Some alternatives to surgery is a beautiful smile. Today, there are solutions to getting whiter teeth and straighter teeth. There are even solutions to implanting a missing tooth and to close gaps. Going to the dentist in the 21st century is no longer just getting your teeth cleaned.

For whiter teeth, there are bleaching trays to make your teeth whiter. You can even see results after the first treatment. These bleaching trays can be done at the dentistry or they can supply you with at-home whitening kits.

You can even straighten your teeth without looking like a teenager. When you're 18 or older, wearing braces is not necessarily beautiful in our eyes. However, there is a product called Invisalign. This is a clear piece of plastic that you put in your mouth and it will straighten your teeth. This most definitely beats wearing metal braces. If invisible braces isn't good enough, how about this? Your first consolation is usually free. The dentist will check and make sure that Invisalign is right for you and it doesn't even cost a dime.

Having a missing tooth can be embarrassing. However, the solution to this is dental implants. Dental implants is a post that is surgically placed in the jaw. Dental implants are done by a Board Certified Oral Surgeon. Implants have been done successfully for many years.

Gaps in your teeth is not known as attractive or beautiful. However, gaps can be a thing in the past. Bonding is a procedure where tooth-colored composite resin material is placed to "fill in the blanks." One of the most frequent uses of the bonding technique is to fill in a gap between front teeth.

Some other alternatives to beauty is looking younger. Some ways to look younger is to get  Botox. Botox is a small injection that only takes 10 minutes and it will temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. Getting Botox is easy and safe because it is the only treatment of its type that is FDA approved. Another solution to youth is Juvederm. Juvederm is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid. It helps smooth away wrinkles in your face, making you look years younger.

Even in this hard economic time, just about everyone can still get quality dental care. Most dentists, offer financing. According to Dr. Joel David, from David and Associates in Jacksonville, Florida, "We really work within your budget to show you how you can do ideal dentistry. We might not be able to do it all at one time, there's no pressure. What we do is, we show you a plan that's gonna get you back to ideal dental health and then what we're going to do is, we're gonna do it on your time frame and we’re gonna do it on your budget."
